Damascus Snowball Truce (a real moment of peace)

I have something else I was going to post, but just saw this. It reminds me of the WWI Christmas truce. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christmas_truce

There is a deep lesson and inspiration here. I think we would learn so much by fully understanding why the fighting starts again after these moments of intense peace and fellowship.
